This stunningly beautiful 3 piece sterling silver over sting ray skin set placed second at the 2011 Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial. It was crafted by Teme silversmith Christopher Tom. This 3 piece necklace, bracelet, and earrings are made out of sterling silver and semi-precious stones. The Necklace features a reversable pendant which is strung on three strands of red coral beads. The pendant has three Blue Lace Agate Cabochons and four Lapis Lazuli cabochon accents. The pendant is a silver overlay on top of red sting ray skin. The pendant has a a lovely twist wire border. On the reverse side are some cut outs petroglyphs also the pendant bail has matching cuts and has 3 oval Lapis Lazuli cabochons on the bail as well. The bracelet is the most interseting piece. The bracelet closely resembles a traditional Navajo row bracelet. It has five oval Blue Lace Agate cabochons and 8 round Lapis Lazuli cabashons and two oval Lapis Lazuli cabochons on the cuff ends. There are also silver bead drops in between the stones. The entire piece sits on top of red sting ray skin. The Bracelet cuffs are most beautiful which is handsomely complimented by the twisted wire border. The uderside of the bracelet features petroglyph cut outs that are contrasted by the red sting ray skin. The earrings are similar to the pendant and dangle from hand crafted French ear wire with red bamboo coral beads. Each piece is stamped Chris Tom & Sterling Silver. Each piece features various pre-historic Native American Petroglyphs. The pieces are high polish finished.
