This stunningly beautiful 3 piece charm set placed third at the 2011 Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial. It was crafted by Teme silversmith Christopher Tom. This 3 piece charm necklace, bracelet, and earrings are made out of sterling silver and semi-precious stones. The Necklace resembles a large charm bracelet. It is made with ten gage round wire with several charms with stones on the oppisite side. The charms feature various pre-historic Native American Petroglyphs. The designs have several finishes including silver dust texture, hammering stamps, and plain high polish finish. The pieces are highly oxidized giving the pieces stunning contrast that bring out the thousand year old petroglyph designs. The stones on the pieces draw in attention with its splashing color. The stones used are Red Spiney Oyster, Lapis Lazuli, Mother Of Pearl/Gold Lip Shell, Red Medeterranian Coral, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Nacazari Turquoise, and last but not least Chinease Turquoise. The Charm Bracelet is a smaller version of the necklace. Featuring mulitple shapes round, trillion, oval, & square. The bracelet and charm bracelet are both size adjustable. The earrings are produced with the Hands of Time petroglyphs. On the front side is a cut out over lay of a set of hands. Inside the hands are cut out triangles that are textured to bring contrast to its fullest. The earrings have sleeping beauty turquoise cabochons on the front side and dangle on hand fabricated French earwire. The High Desert Petroglyph set features some remarkable images that are symbolic and sacred to the American Indians of the southwest and can be found at most Pre-Historic sites located within the Southwest United States of America.
